Welcome to Lilian Schick Junior High School's Sport Recreation Academy!

Our program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to participate in a wide range of physical activities. By engaging in this program, students can experience the numerous benefits that come with being active while developing skills in a variety of sports.

Program Details

Grades

This program is available for students in grades 7-9.

Cost

Our Sport Recreation Academy has a total cost per term of: $210.00 per student, which covers all activities, transportation, equipment, and certified instructors.

Schedule

The program will run on either Day 2 or Day 4 during scheduled options, with a mix of on-site and off-site activities.

Physical Activity

The program promotes health and wellness with a focus on improving cardiovascular health, strength, and overall fitness.

Leadership

The program allows students to develop leadership capacity and confidence as school ambassadors.

Social Skills

Participating in group activities develops students' social skills, including communication, teamwork, and relationships.

 

Academy Students Must

  • Have good academic standing and proven ability to observe the Code of Conduct
  • Be highly motivated, disciplined, dedicated, and coachable with a commitment to skill development.
